Need food? We are here to help.
At the Divine Sent Food Cupboard, we aim to provide a 5-7 day supply of food on a monthly basis to people in need who live in the Oxford, PA and surrounding areas. This includes nutritious food obtained through the state, in collaboration with the Chester County Food Bank, as well as canned and nonperishable items obtained through food drives and donations.
The first time you visit the Divine Sent Food Cupboard to request services, you will be asked to complete a Self Declaration of Need Form and provide proof of address (such as U.S. mail, Driver’s License, Photo ID Card or Passport).
***New*** “Drive-Up” Service in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19): Before you arrive at the Divine Sent Food Cupboard, please clear space in the trunk of your vehicle where food may be placed. When you arrive on-site, please remain in your vehicle and open your trunk. A greeter will meet you at your vehicle to provide service. Thank you.
Our clients include hungry children, teens, young adults, adults, seniors, people with disabilities and/or mental illness, single parent families, people who work (perhaps at several jobs) for a less than subsistence wage, those who have lost their jobs during the economic recession, and many more.
New clients are accepted when the Divine Sent Food Cupboard is open or you may contact us to schedule an appointment.
We participate in Government programs for clients who are below 150% of the poverty level. Families with incomes below the relevant amounts for the numbers in their household are eligible to receive state and federal food from the food cupboard once a month. Regardless of qualification to receive government food assistance, donated food may be available through the Divine Sent Food Cupboard upon completion of the Self Declaration of Need Form and proof of address. All food programs are equal opportunity.
